Le Braye is a family owned beach bistro offering fresh, delicious food & drink. It is a place to enjoy great food, great service and good company in the unique magnificence of St Ouen’s Bay.

The bay has been a part of the Baker family life long before taking over the café in 2012. It is where they raised their children in the surf, battled windy dog walks and enjoyed countless sunsets with friends. With a longstanding passion for food, drink and a background in hospitality, taking over Le Braye in 2012 was a natural next step.

Jo and Annie Baker now run the restaurant with the help of their son Joseph, whose passion for food is a wonderful asset to Le Braye. Joseph divides his tiem between Le Braye and his own project the wonderful ‘Petchi’ restaurant.

A love for St Ouen’s influences every aspect of Le Braye and it is a place designed for everyone, all ages, including the family dogs too who are welcome on the terrace or outside.

Whether watching balmy summer sunsets with a bowl of local crab linguine and a glass of wine, or enjoying a midwinter lunch nestled by the wood burner, Le Braye allows you to enjoy St Ouen’s bay in all of its seasons.

The menu pays homage to British seaside classics whilst Mediterranean influences nod to our more southern geography. The ethos that drives the kitchen is to serve food that is always fresh, wherever possible locally sourced and simply delicious.
